Unveiling the Magic: How I Manifested My Dream Life
Manifestation is all the rage these days, but let me break it down for you and show you what it’s really about.
This week marks my one year anniversary of living in Miami!
What’s truly remarkable is how the combination of Breathwork, meditation, meditation and journaling techniques from Dr. Joe Dispenza, empowered me to manifest and create my dream life here!
During a visit to Miami in 2022, I completely fell in love with the city. I loved the vibe, the people, the beach, the culture and the familiar presence of fellow New Yorkers. Deep down, I knew in my heart I was meant to be there. So I did what I do with every major decision in my life: I breathed on it. Through the synergy of Breathwork with the manifestation techniques learned from Dr. Joe Dispenza, I brought my dream of living in Miami into reality.
Manifestation has become quite the buzzword these days. You are see countless people all over the internet sharing all the ways to manifest whatever it is that you want. But what exactly is manifestation?
At the most basic level, manifestation is the act of believing in something with the intention of making it your reality. Let’s be clear: Manifestation is not just “making a wish.” It’s not just saying the same thing over and over and hoping that it will all work out. Manifestation is a deep, intentional belief that leverages your energetic power to help you create miracles in your own life. It requires introspection, honesty and effort.
Breathwork is the practice of using deep, conscious connected breathing to clear out subconscious beliefs, suppressed emotions from the root and visioning to create new neural pathways and magnetic energy to bring to fruition what it is that we truly desire. By combining these two powerful practices, you can create the state of being you need to be in to magnetize your future vision.
Dr. Joe Dispenza is the number one thought leader in the field of quantum mechanics, epigenetics, neuroscience and explains the true way to manifest. He teaches that your thoughts and feelings create your reality. In order to change your life (manifest your vision) you have to change the way you think and feel. The meditations and journal prompts in his book Becoming Supernatural taught me how to successfully create my own manifestations. :
This journal prompt changed my life.
As someone who has witnessed my own manifestation come true by implementing these practices, here is the process I used to manifest my dream life:
1. Get Clear.
As Dr. Joe states, if manifestation is really going to work for you, then you have to be clear about what it is you’re manifesting. For example, I could have just said, “I want to move” or “I want to live by water.” But I needed to get crystal clear on what I really wanted.
Doing Dr. Joe Dispenza Meditations every morning
Prior to moving in, I meditated daily on my friend’s balcony in South Beach, knowing in that I wanted the same view. I envisioned myself sitting on my balcony drinking tea, watching the sunset. I saw a beautiful, plant-filled home with natural light and peaceful energy. I saw myself living steps from the beach. So I journaled, meditated and breathed on it every day believing it was going to happen even when my realtor told me to curb my expectations. The same vision came up in my meditations, my Breathwork sessions and even in my dreams. A week in, I found an apartment that would have awarded me a partial water view, and even contemplated signing a lease when I saw a post for an apartment:
My Miami Home
I met with the owner, a sound healer and reiki coach (talk about synergy!) Two weeks later, I moved into my dream home.
Approach manifestation with that level of laser focus. How much money do you want to make? What date do you want to finish that book by? What position do you want to be hired for at that dream company?
2. Release Limiting Beliefs:
Clarity is important to making manifestation work, but even if you are completely clear about what it is you want, you can still sabotage your goals in a number of other ways.
One of the most common ways I see people do this is when they try to manifest their goals without clearing their limiting beliefs.
What I mean by that is this: We all have beliefs that hold us back. We all tell ourselves things like “I can’t actually have that” or “I don’t deserve that” or “I’m not worthy of having that.”
With those kinds of beliefs in your way, you will never get what you manifest.
Instead, you have to work through these blocks and break down those barriers. You have to really believe, in your heart of hearts, that you are worthy and capable of receiving what you want.
This is where Breathwork comes in.
We have good reasons for being held back (trauma, abuse, belief systems, etc.), but we have to release those thoughts in order to manifest a different, better reality for ourselves. Breathwork helps us quiet those doubts by calming our analytical mind and allowing us to get into our subconscious to clear out those limiting beliefs and old stories.
3. Trust the Universe.
I truly manifested the love of my life. Before I moved to Miami, and was aware that I wanted to be in a relationship, I met my dream guy. But the timing wasn’t right. So even though it was really hard, I had to let go, trusting the Universe would bring us back together if it was meant to be. And months later, we found our way back to each other.
The love of my life
The universe (or God, if you’re inclined to think that way) has your back. Everything is working for you. Trust that the energy you are putting out into the world will be returned to you in the form of the things that you want. Believe that there are things bigger and greater than you, and that they’re waiting to give you the help you need, when you need it.
This is what allows manifestation to be an enjoyable process, rather than a stressful one. You don’t have to worry about whether or not things will work out. You just have to believe, trust and do what you can to create the reality you want.
Manifesting your desires is all about the combination of action, planning, and positive thinking. The sustained efforts you put into yourself now will benefit you in the future.
Start taking the first steps today toward manifesting your goals and one day, you’ll see for yourself what your positive and action-filled behavior has attracted for you.
